We have a training option called Small Group Personal Training which enables you to train with up to 3 additional people. This is a great way to experience a group environment while receiving a personalised program and sharing the cost of the coach.

This is an important step in getting to know our clients and enables us to build a clear picture of what you want from your training and how you move. This information is the foundation from which we build the personalised training solution to address your individual needs and ensure that we structure your program in way that is safe and responsive to your specific movement challenges.
There are 5 key parts of the Five Point Movement Health Check:

- Breathing Review
- Posture Screen

Injury does not prevent you from training as programs can be modified to support injuries. However, prior to commencing a new training program a medical clearance may be required from a health care provider.
To exercise safely and effectively without the risk of injury you need to move well first. That is why we have a philosophy of movement before exercise. We find that people often jump straight into challenging exercise regimes without developing quality movement competency first, resulting in injury. Your safety is our priority.
Functional movement is a very popular term these days and it really can be related to anything depending on what is functional for each client. Sitting for most of us is functional although it is not good for long periods of time. We refer to functional as being capable of moving your body well in all directions and withstanding the rigours of life with a minimum of fuss.
We strongly believe that an athlete who can move their bodies freely and efficiently will have greater longevity in their sport of choice. Frequently the scales are tipped too heavily towards performance first. We assess an athlete’s movement capacity to ensure we identify and address underlying issues which could lead to future injury. Once movement patterns are established we aim to increase strength, power and performance in line with our client’s sport of choice. We want to make sure each individual has the best chance when it comes to increased physical capacity along with enhancing their chances of sustaining injury free movement for longer.
Activities of daily living are by far the most important things we as humans do. We need to walk, run, get up and down and be able to move freely in all directions. We find most traditional training programs do not put sufficient emphasis on the importance of this. Traditional training tends to emphasise running faster or lifting heavier weights. Our training solutions are directed at the average person, who is most of the general population, who just needs to be able to move well to move through each day with energy, pain free and with a minimum of fuss.
Your session times are set aside specifically for you. Therefore, we require 24 hours cancellation notice to enable that time to be rescheduled.
